"Salvation by Works! God's Works, not Man's!" 10/17/2026
SALVATION BY WORKS!
GOD’S WORKS, NOT MAN’S?
A persistent theological discussion exists within Christianity, Messianic communities, and Torah-observant believers concerning whether or not salvation depends on any type of works.
Mainstream Christianity teaches that no works are required at all—salvation is already accomplished and completed. Conversely, Messianic believers often emphasize works, frequently incorporating practices that extend beyond biblical instruction, including numerous Talmudic and Mishnaic traditions created by man, not God.
Yet what does Scripture itself reveal when we set aside denominational interpretations and institutional perspectives to examine the biblical text directly?
Is the Father's message through Yeshua—spanning from Moses to John—straightforward and comprehensible? Or does it present complexity?
Do works factor into the salvation narrative…in any capacity?
Has the institutional church created negative perceptions regarding God's commandments? We know that is a resounding YES!
As well as the other side of the same coin, have Messianic and Hebrew Roots movements promoted work-based requirements that lack biblical foundation? And that too, is a yes.
In this teaching, I will NOT engage both sides of this debate, as doing so would elevate human reasoning above God's simple and concise Word.
Instead, I will present Scripture passages from Genesis to Revelation that establish a clear framework of God's requirements for salvation and entry into heaven.
I will bring a clear understanding, from the HOLY BIBLE, on the difference between salvation by your own works compared to the fulfillment of salvation by God’s works.
